Spring means a new beginning for many and if you’re one of them, choose positivity for this spring’s goal. I want to encourage you to change your mindset to the positive thoughts, which also helps when you’re living a green lifestyle. I’ve had some busy weeks in the last two months and just like we clean our homes, we also have to clean our head. Keep reading to feel inspired and learn a few recipes as well. 😉
Green living is a lifestyle where you choose to use fewer products, but higher quality. If you’re a regular reader, you already know that I like to share simple recipes that can be done by anyone (and I mean it, anyone). We’ve all seen tutorials with 5+ ingredients that are difficult to find and expensive as well and all of this just doesn’t motivate you to actually use homemade skin care products.
But since my main goal is to share cruelty-free skin care tutorials and recipes I want to make it simple for everyone. I’ve been there and I know that it’s much easier to just go to the drugstore and buy the cheap body cream, scrub or soap. But homemade products have something more, not only the nutrients for our skin but also the passion that the creator put into it.
This passion for promoting skin care products that are not tested on animals drives me to create new recipes. And since it’s spring, I want you to feel the same. 🙂 Let’s get inspired, focus our minds on positivity and start a new spring series with many new recipes. What I will be crafting is still a secret, but let’s say you will be able to pamper your face, body, and soul with it. 🙂
“Everything begins with a kind heart.” This is SO true. Choosing cruelty-free products was one of the reasons I started this blog. I couldn’t find many CF products in drugstores (or everything was way too expensive for the ingredients it contained), so I started making my own skin care products. Not that it’s any cheaper. 😀 But it’s also a hobby, something you do even if takes time and costs more. It’s a passion. 🙂
“Collect moments, not things.” One of the main pillars of green living is also using less. We want to focus on collecting memories that matter and not on things that don’t. So use something you’ve been with your own hands and use it mindfully. It’s great, believe me. 🙂
And the last quote I’m sharing with you today is: “One small positive thought in the morning can change your whole day.” This is something I still have to learn to do regularly. 😛 But nevertheless, every time I start my day with something positive, it changes my view on everything that happens that day. It’s truly powerful and that’s why it’s so important to practice it daily. Starting tomorrow! 😀
I want to continue this series with more positive thoughts, so join me in a few days. Sign-up for the newsletter, so you don’t miss our next post. 🙂
Oh, and if you’ve noticed, we just changed our logo. Hope you like it. 🙂
