I don’t know about you, but my hands are very sensitive during winter. This is why I decided to make a gentle and soothing body scrub that can be used for hands or other body parts that need some exfoliation. Oats are soothing and exfoliating, so they will be a great ingredient for this recipe. Another ingredient is honey that has anti-microbial properties, so it will help heal any small damages. The last ingredient is oil, I chose olive oil. It’s used for a smoother application, but you can skip it if oil is not something you like.
Smooth lips are a sign of good skin care, so pamper your lips with simple homemade lip balms. These are easy to make and many contain great scents and colors. Some colors can also be derived from natural sources, so you can experiment with different colorants and create all-natural products!
Winter is harsh to our skin, but simple face masks can help you with that. Here are a few recipes for normal, dry and oily skin that will soothe and nourish. 🙂
If you’re a fan of warm baths, then this post will be perfect for you. Bath bombs are usually made with simple everyday ingredients, especially citrus acid and baking soda. Some recipes also add Epsom salt and other nourishing ingredients. Give them a try. 🙂
Are you ready for another quick scrub? Today we’re making a salt scrub with the base of sea salt. This is a simple, but affordable ingredient that can be found in every pantry. Sea salt can also be substituted with other salts; some like Himalayan salt (larger crystals) and others use other rock salts.
