Are you ready for another quick scrub? Today we’re making a salt scrub with the base of sea salt. This is a simple, but affordable ingredient that can be found in every pantry. Sea salt can also be substituted with other salts; some like Himalayan salt (larger crystals) and others use other rock salts.
Fall is here, so we’ll start with some fall-inspired skin care items. Exfoliation is very important for healthy and glowy skin, so use face and body scrubs once or even twice a week. But to change this a bit, I will share some re-creations of scrubs published in various ebooks. If you’ve ever browsed Amazon Kindle’s store, you know there are thousands of great ebooks about natural handmade and homemade skin care products, so why not give them a try? 🙂
Hands show our overall health and especially our skincare routine. If your hands are dry and damaged, then this recipe will be very useful for you. You can also make some easy hand masks, that will heal your skin even faster.
There’s nothing as annoying as dry and cracked lips. Wind and low temperatures can even make your lips bleed, but not if you use a proper lip balm. This blueberry & vanilla lip balm is especially designed for fall, when you need some extra moisture and hydration. Recipe is very easy, as always 🙂
Have you heard of shaving soaps? I used to love homemade shaving creams, but since I tried this soap, it’s been my favourite. 😀 Freshly made shaving soap looks like a gel (as you can see in the photo below) and when it hardens, it’s quite soft and easy to use. You can also make a real shaving soap (in a bar), but let’s start with this one. You’ll only need a few ingredients, but you can customize it and add more.
